Recipe: Black Truffle Salami Sourdough Toastie
Black truffle salami sourdough toastie
Indulgent black truffle salami squeezed amongst delicious cheddar, mozzarella, proper old fashioned salted butter and slices of sourdough. A lunch everyone is going to love, that is super easy to make but packs a punch of unctuous flavour.
Serves 2
Ingredients
55g Black Truffle Salami
4 slices of sourdough bread
40g mozzarella
40g cheddar
2 tsp of salted butter for spreading
Method
STEP 1
Light your bbq or warm a pan on the hob.
STEP 2
Season your venison burgers on both sides before cooking on the bbq or in a pan for 4 minutes either side.
STEP 3
Set them to one side to rest, putting a slice of burger cheese on each allowing it to melt gently.
STEP 4
Put a teaspoon of aioli on one side of the bun, and a teaspoon of garlic ketchup on the other.
STEP 5
Layer up the burger in to a large stack and give it a squeeze or secure with a skewer or small knife until ready to serve. Enjoy, it’ll be a little messy, but so worth it.
